Restaurant Booking Policy

The Magenta restaurant is open for lunch Tuesday till Saturday between 12pm and 3pm, dinner Tuesday till Saturday 6pm and 10pm.

We strongly recommended that groups of 7+ reserve a table in advance by contacting the team directly.

We would respectfully ask that you are ready to be seated at the time of your reservation. Should you arrive after your booking time, we may need to hold you back to a later time to ensure the best possible level of service to all our guests.

We have a 15 minute grace period. Please call us if you are running later than 15 minutes after your booked time. We may contact you about this booking, so please ensure your email and phone number are up to date. Your table will be booked for 1 hour 45 minutes for parties of up to 2; 2 hours for parties of up to 4; 2 hours 15 minutes for parties of up to 6; and 2 hours 30 minutes for parties of 7+.

It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately. If you have not informed us at the point of booking, please contact the restaurant to discuss your requirements with a member of our team.

Tables are allocated on the day by the restaurant team and although we will do everything we can to allocate a table in your preferred area of the dining room, we cannot always guarantee this.

The restaurant’s continued viability relies on reservations being honoured by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations.

For tables of 2 or more we require credit card detail and reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee of £20 per person for a no-show or if the cancellation is made so late that we are unable to sell the table on the same terms.

Accordingly, the following applies:

1. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for any booking that is cancelled without prior notice.
2. . For all bookings, you must notify us of a cancellation or any changes to the number of guests at least 24 hours prior to your booking.
3. Magenta Restaurant reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of £20 per person for any bookings cancelled within this 24 hour notice period.
4. The cancellation fee reflects the cost incurred by Magenta in terms of staffing, food, and any lost revenue as a result of turning away other potential bookings.
5. Any bookings which fail to turn up without any prior notice, will also incur a £20 per person fee Young children
6. Please note, the dining room at is unsuitable for young children and babies. The bar area will be available for prams, babies & children at Lunch, in the Evenings 9 years old and upwards will be allowed. Contact the restaurant to enquiry first.

Table sizes

Due to restaurant configuration, we are only able to accommodate up to 10 people for group bookings. If you require more people, please ask about our private dining options
